Lake Improvement / Renovation near Sulphur Springs, TX 

This was a neat, interesting project.  The land owner had two, small old pools that did nothing to enhance his property.  We removed an old tumble down barn which had outlived its' usefulness to expand and join the two pools together into a very attractive lake.  One of the challenges was working around existing mature landscaping and making it fit all together as it twined in and out of the trees.  The land owner is able to enjoy an exquisite view from his back deck now!

Before picture showing one of the existing small pools. It was imperative to preserve as much of the original landscaping as possible.

View between the two pools. This area will be excavated and the trees on the right will become part of an island.

Work progresses and what is left of one of the existing pools on the left. This will become the island.

After picture-- same view as picture number one in this gallery. What a huge difference!

Looking southwest past the island. This is all 'new' water. The old barn was removed at the southernmost part of this area.
