09/2007 - Seems lately, Nick has visited several projects that the owner's were turning to him as a last resort.  These projects were constructed wrong to begin with and the owners had poured more money into them in an attempt to correct the problem.  All of them involved lakes that would not hold water. In one instance, the owner reported a foot of water loss per day!  The owners had tried various solutions, bentonite clay liner etc with no success.   All of this additional work comes at a considerable expense; sometimes as much as 3X the cost of the original 'bargain' construction cost.  Do it right the first time!
