Another liner project--
This large inground fishing lake will be constructed in front of the main house of a 17,000 acre working cattle ranch. The owner's house is on an oxbow of the Trinity River which is used for recreational boating. They desired a fishing lake which they could stock with primarily bass and manage.

Looking south through the large hardwoods, initial excavation of the topsoil can be seen. Water will come up through the trees at this location.	Looking east, a corner of the tennis court is visible as well as the owner's house in the tree line.
Topsoil is removed and stockpiled for later use.	Existing small tank will be incorporated in the new lake.

 

 

How many times have we talked about doing it right the first time?  This small lake has never held water.  3 attempts have been made to 'fix' it including the use of bentonite clay with no success.  We will put a plastic liner in this lake.
